Jamie joined WealthPlan in 2009 after graduating from Creighton University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. While at Creighton, Jamie was selected for an internship with Feltz WealthPlan and impressed the Feltz team with his abilities and dedication.

In his role as Wealth Advisor, O’Brien spends his time meeting with clients, listening to their life experiences, and addressing their financial fears and desires.

Upon developing mutual trust and a great communication channel with clients, Jamie designs and executes comprehensive financial plans that are “Client-Centric.” Jamie utilizes real-time financial management strategies that match each client’s plan to their goals. As client’s lives change, so does their plan.

Over the years, Jamie has met with clients who are considering retirement but want to make sure they can maintain their current lifestyle. Jamie finds that success in this career is embedded in the ability to execute a client’s plan from beginning to end and explain with confidence that income needs will be addressed, estate plans are in good order, and adequate insurance has been secured as appropriate for the situation. This is the backbone of financial planning.
Aside from his responsibilities as a Wealth Advisor, Jamie is a supporter and former board member of the Service League for Big Brothers and Sisters. He is also a supporter of the Angels Among Us foundation, Omaha Young Professionals, and the Omaha Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Jamie is active in various citywide sports leagues and enjoys spending time with his wife, Mila, family, and friends.
