Omaha wealth management
and financial planning
since 1989
WealthPlan Group’s Omaha team provides coordinated wealth management that connects financial planning, investment management, tax planning, estate considerations, insurance, and retirement decisions. The advisors and services available to a client depend on the legal entity, professional capacity, agreement, and the client’s needs.

Formerly Feltz WealthPLANWhere WealthPlan Group began
Everything WealthPlan Group is today traces back to this office. Todd Feltz and his business partners Brent O’Mara, Wade Behlen and Dan Feltz built the practice here to offer something the industry did not at the time: unbiased financial planning measured by client success rather than company sales. From that Omaha foundation came the move to advisory business, the first model portfolios, the retirement plan division that grew into a national leader, and the Vision1 planning program still used across the firm.
Since 1989, the Omaha team has remained the backbone of the firm, the founding practice that other advisors joined, and the standard the rest of the organization was built to match. Read the full firm history

The founding practice
Todd Feltz opened the doors in Omaha and built the firm on long-term, often multi-generational relationships, with a philosophy of “Return on Life,” not just return on investment.
- 02
Built the platform
The shift to advisory business, the first model portfolios, the Signature 401(k) retirement division and the Vision1 planning program all started here, and are now used firm-wide.

$700M to over $6B
With Brent O’Mara joining as partner in 2014, this office became the growth platform that like-minded advisors across the country chose to join, now over $6 billion in total assets.

Common questions
Omaha wealth management FAQs
Where is WealthPlan Group’s Omaha office?
The Omaha office is at 101 South 108th Avenue, Second Floor, Omaha, Nebraska 68154.
What wealth-management services are available through the Omaha team?
Our Omaha team helps coordinate financial planning, investment management, tax planning, estate considerations, insurance solutions, and retirement decisions. The specific services available depend on your needs and the agreement with the firm providing them.
What is the difference between wealth management and financial planning?
Financial planning organizes goals, resources, decisions, and trade-offs across areas such as cash flow, retirement, taxes, insurance, and estate considerations. Wealth management may combine ongoing planning with investment management and coordination across those areas. The scope depends on the written agreement.
What should I bring to a first meeting?
Helpful information may include account and benefit statements, income and expense details, debt, insurance policies, estate documents, tax returns, expected cash needs, goals, and questions. Do not submit sensitive documents through a general website form or ordinary email; use an approved secure method when instructed.
Can an Omaha advisor coordinate with my attorney or tax professional?
Yes. Within the applicable engagement, an advisor may consider tax and estate implications and coordinate with your CPA, tax professional, or attorney. Those qualified professionals remain responsible for individualized tax or legal advice, returns, and documents.
