Who this practice is built for
Three groups, with one thing in common: the decisions ahead of them are consequential and hard to reverse.
Retirees and pre-retirees
The decade around retirement carries the decisions you make once. Social Security timing, which account to draw first, and what the plan looks like when the paycheck stops.
Business owners
The business is usually the largest asset and the least liquid. Planning covers what happens as it grows, and what happens the day it is sold or handed on.
High-net-worth families
More accounts, more entities, more people affected. The work is coordination: making the portfolio, the tax return and the estate documents agree with each other.
The work itself
A local practice with the research, tax and estate resources of a national firm behind it.
Wealth Management
Portfolios built to a written plan, with research and trading infrastructure behind every allocation decision.

Learn moreMeet David
David Goldstein has worked with individuals, families and businesses since 1987, and joined WealthPlan Partners in 2022. Nearly four decades in, the through-line of the practice has not changed: build the plan so the money is there at the moment it is needed, not merely on paper in the meantime.
Most of his clients are retirees and people within sight of retirement, alongside business owners and families with more moving parts than a single account statement can hold. Many of those relationships now run decades deep, which is the part of the work he talks about first.
Born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, David served in the U.S. Air Force and received an honorable discharge before entering wealth management. Outside the office he golfs and spends time with family in California.
