Wealth Planner

I am passionate about helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions with confidence. My approach combines practical financial planning with more than a decade of experience as an educator, allowing me to simplify complex financial concepts and empower clients to make decisions aligned with their goals.

In addition to my work as a Financial Advisor, I am an Assistant Professor in the Management Department at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where I coordinate Business Teacher Education and Work-Based Learning and direct the Center for Economic Education. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to advancing financial literacy by preparing future educators and expanding access to high-quality personal finance education across Nebraska.

My background in education has shaped the way I serve clients. I believe financial planning should be personalized, understandable, and focused on helping people achieve lasting financial confidence. Whether working with individuals, families, or educators, I enjoy building relationships based on trust, education, and long-term success.

I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where my research focused on personal finance education. I also love presenting at state and national conferences on business and financial education and was honored to recently be named the National FBLA Businessperson of the Year and the Kearney Young Professional of the Year.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young daughters, exploring new places together, and supporting initiatives that promote financial literacy in our communities.
